RESERVATION &
CONFIRMATION
Provisional reservations will only be regarded as confirmed
on receipt of the signed contract and requested deposit. Should the client fail
to return the signed contract and pay such deposit within 48 hours of the
requested booking, iKhaya may treat the reservation as having being cancelled
by the client. Any reservation changes must be confirmed in writing. The client
shall not be entitled to assign the reservation to any third party nor to
utilise iKhaya's facilities for any other purpose than that stated in the
contract without iKhaya's prior written approval
PAYMENT POLICY:
A credit card authorisation form must be completed and signed to confirm all
bookings, as well as, payment of requested deposits. A Pro-Forma Invoice is
attached for ease of payment. All other amounts incurred against this agreement
will be invoiced. All invoices are payable upon presentation of the invoice.
Any queries shall not affect the immediate payment of the account. In the event
of the company holding an account with iKhaya Lodge, please provide us with
written account payment details on a company letterhead to guarantee this
reservation. The final account is to be signed by the authorised signatory
prior to departure of the group from iKhaya Lodge. Interest at 10% will be
levied on accounts overdue by 30 days.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Should a reservation be cancelled prior to the arrival date reserved, and if
iKhaya Lodge & Conference Centre is unable to resell the booking, the
following cancellation fees will apply:
- 14-7 days prior to the reservation, 50% of the total cost of the booking will
be levied
- 7 days or less prior to the reservation, 100% of the total cost of the
booking will be levied
CONDITIONS
iKhaya Lodge and/or any of its employees do not accept any
responsibility for any loss or damage sustained by the client, the clients
employees, or the clients guests, however incurred whilst on the premises.
iKhaya Lodge does not accept any responsibility for any losses, damages or
inconvenience caused to the client due to power failures or acts of God. The
client agrees all damage caused by the client, the client's employees, or the
clients guests to the facilities in the hotel, the room or its contents will be
charged directly to the client. The client accepts that they are liable for the
whole bill even if it is booked through an agent.
