Take a 10-minute cable car ride and enjoy spectacular 360-degree views of Cape Town from the top of Table Mountain, the city’s most famous icon. The Table Mountain Aerial Cableway takes visitors to the summit of Table Mountain in under 10 minutes. The cable car’s rotating floor and huge windows ensure that all passengers get a 360-degree aerial view as they head up the mountain.
One of Cape Town's biggest tourist attractions, the Waterfront evokes images of the early activities of the harbour. Much of its charm lies in the fact that this busy commercial harbour is set in the midst of a huge entertainment venue with pubs, restaurants, specialty shops, craft markets, theatres and movies. Seal-watching is an amusing diversion. Boat trips around the harbour and along the coast are always popular. Helicopter flips provide a broader perspective. The southern tip of the African continent is the meeting place of two mighty and bountiful oceans, the Indian and the Atlantic. The Two Oceans Aquarium on the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town is ideally positioned to showcase the incredible diversity of marine life found in these two oceans. The Aquarium is one of the top tourist attractions in Cape Town and over 3000 living sea animals, including sharks, fishes, seals, turtles and penguins can be seen in this spectacular underwater nature reserve.
Blouberg Beach is situated between Big Bay and Table View Beach. The corner of the beach has some great rock pools to explore. Many photographs are taken of Table Mountain from here, with the waves splashing over the rocks and the mountain in the background. From the beach you can look out into Table Bay as well as look back down the beach at Table View and Milnerton.
